About Our Church

If you’re looking for a church home where people know your
name, and you know most everybody who gathers for
worship each Sunday, Lake Shore Church might be just the
place for you.

We’re a family-sized church, and though families aren’t big
they’re good. Lake Shore is an open family that loves to
welcome new people to the table. Our church has a cross
section of age groups, of singles and families, of students
and working folks. We sincerely seek the Lord and the power
of His Word and Spirit. We put high value on experiencing
the presence of the Lord. We take time to pray for
individuals, including prayers for healing.

Lake Shore Church was birthed in 1986. Our current pastor,
Brian Larson, began serving the church in 1995. His ministry
emphasizes the teaching of God’s Word in an expository,
relevant fashion. For most of the church’s history, we have
met in the downtown area.

Our mission is to serve the gospel of Jesus Christ here and
around the world by spreading the saving message of Christ
to as many people as we can. Come, join the family!
